About
I grew up in the Carkeek Park neighborhood of North Seattle, attended Blanchet High School in the Greenlake area, followed by a liberal arts undergraduate degree and semi-decent baseball career from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
Following Whitman, I attended the Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans where I earned my Master of Architecture I degree and had a total blast being a North-westerner living it up down South.
Since graduation in 2007, I have been a practicing architect in both Washington and Louisiana and my past experiences working on wonderful projects with great people have shaped my career trajectory and passion for design and architecture. I have had the pleasure and honor being part of brilliant design firms such as Trahan Architects (New Orleans), Errol Barron | Michael Toups Architects (New Orleans), Chadbourne + Doss Architects (Seattle), and NBBJ (Seattle).
My approach is to listen to a client’s needs and understand their goals and vision. I don’t come to the table with preconceived notions or a personal agenda – the enjoyment of the design process is when I am able to work collaboratively with the client to create something beyond expectations.
